Stage 2 of my incense making process

After incense has soaked in the oils 3 days, my next step is to turn then upside down in another jar for a few more days so whatever oil was at the top of the stick can work its way down as it dries.

Early morning making incense

Well time doesn't wait for you when you get a big order you have to stay on top of things...and if that means up early so be it.  Working on an incense order for The Smoking Caterpillar in Austin Texas on 6th street. 

If you're local and haven't checked out their shop you need to!  They're behind Aaron's Rock & Roll.  They put in an order for over 30 different incense scents...check them out!

Picture of work in progress soaking the incense for 3 days...next step is laying them out to dry for a few days so they can be packaged.

Artfest event at "World Interiors at the Domain II

We set up at World Interiors on Saturday, May 7th - from 10am-5pm - and had a wonderful time! Not only is World Interiors an INCREDIBLE store, the the staff is the best out there! There were artisans set up throughout the store and the energy there was great. Networked some and met some great people...and yes sold some candles :)

I HIGHLY recommend going to World Interiors in the Domain II if you are in Austin, TX and you will see what I mean.

We had a great space and the setup couldn't have been better! I'll DEFINITELY do that again when the opportunity presents itself. If not for selling, but even for the ambiance. They graciously provided snacks and drinks for the vendors and it was their 1 year anniversary. Later that day, Maggiano's brought by food and it couldn't have been more delicious if we had gone in the restaurant itself...I'm definitely planning on it!

Warren and his staff were noting but great...and the musical talents of Courtney Sanchez just made an incredible day that much more better! As you walk around the store you are amazed at what they have - if you have style or looking for it, look no further because it's at World Interiors! Barret was incredibly helpful and I would not have been able to set everything up or have as much fun if he wasn't there!
